Second bombing suspect in police custody after stand-off

WATERTOWN, Mass. —  Minutes after Massachusetts State Police  announced the completion of their door-to-door search in Watertown, gunfire broke out in the neighborhood.

Boston officials confirmed that suspect number two was inside a boat in the backyard of a home on Franklin Street. Reports say that a resident called police to report finding blood by the boat and seeing a ladder in the back yard that was not there earlier. The suspect was injured and is on the way to a Boston area hospital.

The suspect had been on the run since very early Friday morning, when he and his brother were involved in a gunfire fight with police. Suspect number one was killed in that encounter.
