5 places to eat in Rexburg that you might not have known about

So, you’re going on a date but don’t know where to go? 

Well here are five places in Rexburg to find a bite to eat.

The Taco Bus or Tacos Tepito is located at 310 North Second East

It might not be close to campus, but if you are looking for authentic Mexican, The Taco Bus could have what you are looking for. Yelp, the online review service, has given this restaurant four and a half stars out of five. “The feeling you get while you’re sitting on the inside of a bus-made-diner is like nothing else,” according to The Best of Rexburg Community Facebook page.

Fong’s restaurant is located in downtown Rexburg at 26 East Main St.

Here you can find a classic Chinese atmosphere. The seating arrangements are very comfortable whether you are in a large group or in a one-on-one setting. This restaurant has everything you need. It even has a large room in the back for parties or meetings. They have a variety of food including Egg Drop Soup, Mandarin Chicken, Beef and Broccoli and Egg Rolls.

If you are looking for an intimate setting, Original Thai is Located in downtown Rexburg at 10 East Main St.

“Original Thai serves authentic Thai dishes to the Rexburg, ID area. You can choose from different levels of spiciness to suit your taste – mild, medium, or spicy,” according to the Original Thai website.

Albertsons is located at 490 North Second East next to Wal-Mart.

Albertsons is a grocery store that also houses a deli. If you are in the mood for a picnic, you can find everything you need at the deli. It houses a variety of foods to choose from including Chinese and fried chicken. And the Albertsons Deli can have it packed and ready to eat in a matter of minutes.

For some southern cooking, Blister’s BBQ is located at 15 North 12th West.

Blisters offers a variety of sandwiches and choice meats according to the Blisters BBQ website. This establishment has a southern decor with seating arrangements that could suit anything from a roommate dinner party to a family reunion.
