50 percent of Madison County Voters Participate in Primaries

Nearly 50 percent of registered voters in Madison County, Idaho, voted in the Idaho presidential primaries, according to the Madison County website.

In the state of Idaho, 38 percent of registered voters participated in the election, according to The Spokesman-Review.

Presidential Candidate Ted Cruz won the Idaho primaries with 20 delegates and 45 percent of the total votes. Donald Trump took second, winning 12 delegates and 28 percent of the votes, according to the Associated Press.

The next primaries, scheduled for March 12, will be held in Guam, Northern Marianas and the District of Columbia.
