Anonymous Yik Yak threat made against BYU-I students

An unidentified person made a non-specific threat against BYU-Idaho through the mobile app Yik Yak.

The university released a statement warning students to be cautious today:

“BYU-Idaho has received a non-specific threat through Yik Yak,” according to an email sent by the university to students, staff and faculty. “While campus is still open for class today as usual, we advise everyone to be vigilant and report anything unusual to 911. Updates will be communicated to you as more information is available.”
