Ashton man arrested for delivery, federal warrant

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police arrested 26‐year‐old Michael W. Martindale for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver on the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Alice, in Idaho Falls, around 11:41 a.m. for possible drug activity in the alley. Officers contacted Martindale and 50‐year‐old Ronald Myers. Officers learned both Martindale and Myers had outstanding warrants, according to reports.

Officers took Martindale into custody and also found him in possession of Methamphetamine, two glass Meth pipes, two butane lighters and a scale.

Officers also took Myers of Idaho Falls into custody for his Bonneville County Probation Violation warrant. Officers also arrested Myers for misdemeanor assault and battery on an officer after he physically resisted officers. He swung his elbows striking one of the officers and threatened to punch another.

Officers booked Martindale of Ashton into the Bonneville County Jail for a federal ATF warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.
