Beehive Federal Credit Union annual picnic happening Thursday afternoon

Beehive Federal Credit Union’s annual picnic will happen June 23 at Porter Park.

The picnic will be from 4-7 p.m., and there will be food and several activities, according to the Beehive Federal Credit Union Facebook page. All proceeds will be donated to the Primary Children’s Medical Center.

Games and activities include a waterslide, inflatable bumper balls, a climbing wall and a fish pond, according to the Beehive Federal Credit Union Facebook page. Entertainment will be provided by several local groups. RixStix, a BYU-Idaho drumline, and the BYU-I choir and band will all perform.

Local volunteers will help serve food and run different activities.

Ruthie Robertson, a BYU-I alumna, said she and her roommates volunteered in the picnic last summer.

“It was fun to be together with friends and helping out,” Robertson said.

Robertson said there was an Angry Birds game set up that the kids loved.

Food is sponsored by the Idaho Beef Council and is free to members of the credit union, according to the Facebook page.
