The Daily Arrest Report of the Rexburg Police Department shows police arrested and charged 24-year-old male Aaron Archuletta with telephone harassment.

Wednesday, around 1:40 a.m., a student anonymously posted on Yik Yak “BYUI is in trouble tomorrow, don’t go to school (sic).

Approximately two minutes later, the student posted another “Yak” that read, “This is not a joke, your classmates or you will be hurt.”

Police began investigations around 2 a.m. and partnered with BYU-I Safety and Security to identify and arrest the suspect.

Campus Safety and Security reported that Archuletta turned himself in to a campus security officer at approximately 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. Campus Security notified the Rexburg Police Department and Archuletta was taken into police custody.
