BYU-Idaho student arrested for possible domestic battery

Raiarii Jithame, 25, a BYU-Idaho student was arrested on Jan.25 for possible domestic battery and attempted strangulation, according to the Rexburg Police Report.

Police responded to University Village apartments for possible domestic battery, according to the police report.

After investigation the husband was taken into custody and booked into Madison County Jail, according to the Police report.

Jithame has been charged with a felony of attempted strangulation and a misdemeanor domestic battery, said Captain Randy Lewis.

Jithame’s bond is set at $100,000
