In preparation for the BYU-Idaho theatre department’s production of the musical Cats, technical theatre students have worked countless hours behind the scenes to get everything set up.

Students and their teachers have set up sets, props and lighting cues to enhance the experience.

“There has been a lot of sleep lost on the show, but a lot has been gained as well, because of the quality of work we were able to produce,” said Porter Justice the stage manager for the production, who is a senior majoring in theatre studies.

The BYU-I production of Cats will be performed from 7:30-9 p.m., and runs from July 1 to July 10.
