Delegates from all over the United States are here in Philadelphia for the Democratic Convention. To start the convention, delegates from select states, including Idaho and Utah, attendedĀ a breakfast to welcome them.
Delegates choose the Democratic Party for a variety of reasons. Bill Sifford, a Bernie Sanders delegate from McCall, Idaho, favors SandersĀ because of a personal experience he had being a veteran.

For Selina Vickers, a delegate from West Virginia, the breakfast was an opportunity for her to show her support for Bernie Sanders as well as talk about the corruption within politics.

For Paul Schipper, a 28-year-old at-large delegate for Bernie Sanders, becoming a delegate at a young age was hard work.
