Four Fun activities for the Fourth

With the Fourth of July coming up, we all want to make sure that we have plans to make the day fun. Here are some suggestions of things to do on the Fourth:

1. Driggs July Fourth Celebration

Just an hour drive from Rexburg, you can spend the evening listening to live music on the City Center lawn from 6-9 p.m. and watching a firework show at 10:20 p.m., according to the Driggs July Fourth Celebration Facebook page.

2. Independence Day Parade

The 87th Independence Day Parade is always a fun activity to attend, according to rexburgchamber.org. Fill the sidewalks on Main Street with the rest of the community and watch the floats go by. It’s fun for family and friends!

3. Outside Fun

Plan a day of going outside with your friends and roommates. You can play sports, have a barbecue or go swimming. Being outside in the warm weather is easily a fun day, and you can end it all with fireworks.

4. Idaho Falls Fireworks

The Melaleuca Freedom Celebration and Firework Display starts at 10 p.m. with a spectacular 31-minute show and is one of America’s biggest and best firework shows, according to freedomcelebration.com.

Make sure to make it a special day and celebrate with all your friends!
