IDAHO FALLS– Idaho Falls Police arrested Timothy Thiel for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Monday, Sept. 28.

The 23-year-old was also arrested on a Bonneville County warrant.

According to reports, officers responded to the 700 Block of Grace Avenue, in Idaho Falls around 9:15 a.m. for a warrant service. Police were notified that Thiel, who had a warrant, was at a residence in that location.

Thiel and Kelsie Armstrong, 24, were found at the location. Police allegedly found Thiel in possession of 5.5 grams of Methamphetamine and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia. Thiel was also charged for resisting arrest as initially he allegedly refused to respond to police at the door.

Police also arrested Armstrong of Idaho Falls on a Bonneville County warrant, an Idaho Falls warrant and resisting arrest.

Thiel of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail without bail and was arraigned Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 1:30 p.m.
