Idaho Falls police investigate burglary

IDAHO FALLS– The Idaho Falls Police are investigating the theft of $30,000 in equipment taken from Ultimate Steel Erection this past weekend.

There are no known suspects at this time.

According to reports, police responded to a construction site on Flightline Road in Idaho Falls around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 for a report of a burglary.

The owners of Ultimate Steel Erection reported that two trailers containing tools had been broken into sometime late Friday night and early Monday morning.

The burglar(s) took several pieces of equipment, including chop saws and new welders. Anyone with information is asked to contact the IFPD at 208-529‐1200 or Crimestoppers at 208-522‐1983.
