Idaho Falls woman arrested for burglary

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police arrested 20‐year‐old Meashia M. Johnson for burglary after store employees allegedly observed her stealing phone chargers from Walmart on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 17.

Officers responded to Walmart, 500 S. Utah Ave., in Idaho Falls, around 10:12 p.m. for a report of a shoplifter. Store employees allegedly observed her stealing the chargers valued at $82. She intended to return the phone chargers in exchange for store credit, according to police reports.

Officers booked Johnson of Idaho Falls into the Bonneville County Jail without bail, and she was arraigned Monday, Oct. 19, at 1:30 p.m.
