Idaho Falls woman arrested for vehicle theft

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police arrested 46-year-old Betsy A. Lewis-Beaver on a warrant for alleged vehicle theft and burglary in reference to a stolen truck on Friday, Nov. 13.

Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of North Water in Idaho Falls, in reference to a man and woman allegedly staying at an apartment without permission. The woman was said to be identified as Lewis-Beaver who had an active arrest warrant for burglary and vehicle theft, according to police reports.

The warrant stemmed from a case reported in July, in which Lewis-Beaver allegedly stole a truck from the 3000 block of Outlet Boulevard, in Idaho Falls.

Lewis-Beaver of Idaho Falls is currently in the Bonneville County Jail with a $10,000 bond and will face arraignment Monday, Nov. 18, at 1:30 p.m.
