Student shares longboarding aspirations

Longboarding started in California during the 1950s when the waves were flat and surfers would put wheels onto wooden boards and start to surf the streets.

Downhill speed is an essential part of longboarding. Longboarding is more street skating, where as skateboarding is more trick-based in the air.

Anker Peet, a sophomore studying business management who longboards in Rexburg and hopes to one day to start up his own longboarding shop.
