The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be airing a worldwide devotional for young adults over the Church’s broadcast system on May 1 at 6 p.m.

“All young single adults ages 18-30, and students finishing high school or the equivalent are invited to attend,” according to lds.org. “Married institute and university students are also welcome to attend. The devotional will be broadcast to many areas of the world.”

Elder Richard J. Maynes, of the presidency of the seventy, will be the speaker at the devotional, according to the Devotional Web page.

“Elder Richard J. Maynes was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 5, 1997,” according to lds.org. “He was named a member of the Presidency of the Seventy on January 20, 2012.”

Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is scheduled to be the third devotional of the year speaking on Sept. 11, 2016, according to the Devotional Web page.
