Meet the Mormons is now available to watch on Netflix.
The documentary was created to dispel common misconceptions people have about Mormons, according to an official report from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Mormon Newsroom.
“The documentary-style movie … made its national debut in more than 400 theaters across the United States,” according to the website.
According to lds.net, Meet the Mormons became available to watch on Netflix May 4, 2015. Released on October 10, 2014, the movie made the list of the “Top Indie Films of 2014” and brought in $3.5 million at the box office — ranking them at #10 for the premiere weekend.
To navigate to Meet the Mormons within Netflix, search under genres Spiritual Documentaries, Documentaries and Faith & Spirituality, according to LDS Living.
Rated PG, the documentary’s description on Netflix reads, “This film spotlights six diverse members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their inspiring stories of service and redemption.”
