Q: Do you have any funny dating stories?

A: Magda-“Well, he’s my husband and he was my brother’s roommate. We were neighbors. At the beginning, he had a crush on my roommate. He was, like, madly in love with her, and I was new in the apartment. So, I guess it was funny that, in the end, we ended up getting married.”

Q: How long have you been married?

A: Magda-“Ten months.”

A: Dan-“Almost a year. ”

Q: What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?

A: “I haven’t really done anything cool . . . I don’t get out much, apparently . . . I think the coolest thing up here that I’ve done is Table Rock. Hiking Table Rock. It’s just past Driggs, up in the Tetons. You hike right up to the big Teton and it’s just a long, fun hike.”

Q: You remind me of one of my FHE brothers last semester.

A: “For some reason, I remind a lot of people of a lot of people. I’ve got that “wild card” face. Like, people in Brazil said ‘You know what, you look familiar. I don’t know why.’ And finally someone said, ‘I know, you look like Nicolas Cage,’ What? Nicolas Cage? Ok. I guess it could have been worse.”

-Kaden Bond, Sophomore, Bio-chemistry

Q: Do you have a favorite song?

A: “Have you heard that song that goes like, ‘The sun is shining in the sky. There ain’t a cloud in sight.’ I think it is called Mr. Blue Sky by the Electric . . . actually I don’t know who it is by. Electric something something.”

Q: Where are you from?

A: “I am from Herriman, Utah. Where the men are hairy, and the women are scary.”

-Girdy Guertler, Freshman, Elementary Education
