Eastidahonews.com — Emergency crews are responding to a plane that just crashed in a field near the Madison County airport.
The plane was in the air with several other planes practicing for the Legacy Flight Museum air show.
reporter Stephan Rockefeller was in another plane working on a story when the crash happened.
“The pilot came on the radio and said he was going down,” Rockefeller said. “It went down in a field, and emergency crews are currently responding.”
The aircraft was a red bi-wing stunt plane.
