President Clark called as Seventy

President Kim B. Clark was called and sustained as a new member of the First Quorum of the Seventy at the 185th Annual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf, second counselor in the First Presidency, made the announcement during the Saturday Afternoon Session of Conference when announcing the General Officers of the Church.

Clark will be finishing his time as president of BYU-Idaho on April 13. He will start his service as a Seventy for the Church immediately.

President Clark was released as a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy during the 184th General Conference last April.
