BYU-I offers activities for rainy day conditions

BYU-Idaho offers students a number of activities weekly such as big pink volleyball, bubble soccer, self defense classes and Zumba.

Some of the activities are held nightly which include the following.

Basketball, where students can play full-sided games or half court with others. Basketball usually has a high amount of attendance; and teams are made and rotated periodically through out the courts.

Tennis courts are open and available for play. Racquets and balls can be checked out in the I-center or you can bring you own. All regular tennis rules apply.

Futsal creates two teams of five for a full-fielded game. Teams on the court are changed each game. Games are roughly 10 minutes long or until a team to scores twice. Futsal is usually haled in the back corner of the I-center.

Students can run at the indoor track, which is located on the second level of the I-center, and open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The two outside lanes are dedicated for runners and the two inside lanes are for walkers.

Swimmers can swim at the indoor pool, open from 5 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The 25-yard pool has 6 lanes and is used for many academic classes, lifeguarding and several pool activities.

Students and visitors are welcome to join any activities nightly, but are required to wear BYU-I approved clothing.
