Reward offered for info on Jackson Hole arson

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information related to an arson committed in Jackson Hole April 19.

Charlotte Reynolds, public information officer for Teton County, said the fire started around 2 a.m. outside a building at 854 West Broadway.

The building housed six businesses, including two restaurants, an engraving business, a Laundromat, a gun store and a Habitat for Humanity office. All six were destroyed in the fire.

Reynolds said forensic investigators determined that the fire was human-caused and began outside the Habitat for Humanity part of the building. The investigation is ongoing.

Crime Stoppers USA, a national crime reporting organization, is offering the $5,000 reward to anyone offering information that leads to a conviction. The service is anonymous — respondents are given a secret number during their call that they can use to claim their reward.

Those with relevant information may call the Idaho Falls Crime Stoppers at 208-522-1983.
