Rexburg police respond to burglary at Jack in the Box

Rexburg Police responded to a burglary at Jack in the Box located at 461 N. 2nd E. Monday morning, Oct. 26.

The burglar allegedly entered the locked building, disarmed the alarm system, opened the drive-thru window, opened a locked safe and took a total of $1,919 in cash and change, according to police reports.

Police then gathered evidence and information at the scene, according to reports.

Captain Randy Lewis of the Rexburg Police Department said the investigation is ongoing and that police of not found any property damage or signs of forced entry.
