Rigby man arrested for meth

IDAHO FALLS – Idaho Falls Police arrested 40‐year‐old Bret J. Barber for felony possession of methamphetamine on the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 23.

Officers responded to the 1300 block of West Broadway, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, for a man – later identified as Barber – passed out in a vehicle around 1:45 p.m. Officers were able to wake him, according to police reports.

During their interaction, officers determined Barber had an active warrant. While being placed under arrest, he was found in possession of methamphetamine and a meth pipe.

Barber of Rigby is currently booked in the Bonneville County Jail, without bail, for a Bonneville County Sheriff’s warrant and drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned Friday, Oct. 23, at 1:30 p.m.
