The Spread: Action

Action photography is about capturing motion. Whether you are trying to freeze motion or create a blur, action photography can create interesting images. If you have a faster shutter, the motion will be frozen. A slower shutter will cause the motion to blur. Not all cameras allow you to change the shutter speed, but there a still some cool techniques. Try following the subject with your camera to create a blurry background, and make sure you have leading room. If someone is running, make sure they are running into the photo and not out of the photo.
