IDAHO FALLS– Idaho Falls Police arrested Aaron C. Chriswell for burglary after officers responded to a report that a male was attempting break into a vehicle on the morning of Saturday, Sept. 26.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Buckboard Lane in Idaho Falls around 8:20 a.m. after notification that Chriswell was allegedly attempting to start a vehicle that did not belong to him. Upon arrival, officers found Chriswell leaning into the vehicle, according to reports.

Joelyn Hansen, spokeswoman for the Idaho Falls Police Department, said officers found a pressure gauge taken from the vehicle in Chriswell’s possession. He also allegedly damaged the vehicle’s ignition in attempt to start the vehicle with a screwdriver.

Chriswell of St. Anthony was booked into the Bonneville Country Jail without bail on two misdemeanor bench warrants out of Fremont County.

He will be arraigned on Monday, Sept. 28, at 1:30 p.m.
