On Thursday, Feb. 11, BYU-Idaho students will have the opportunity to have a Q & A with President Clark Gilbert.

This event will allow BYU-I students to meet face to face with President Gilbert, ask him questions that have been on their minds about a variety of subjects and get answers right then and there.

The Q & A will take place in the Taylor Chapel at 2 p.m. All students are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity, not only to get to know the president of their university but also get advice on career goals, classes or anything else that has come up in their time at BYU-I.

Be sure to have questions ready prior to arrival.

“I was surprised by how open the questions were,” said Jared Munson, a sophomore majoring in general studies. “Real-world questions were mixed with gospel understanding.”

In past Q & As there have been a variety of questions on multiple subjects such as the Honor Code, spirituality, inspiration, money, professions, the Learning Model and the president’s personal life.

“It helped me gain greater understanding and knowledge, especially to help me on my mission that I am planning on serving in the near future,” said Melissa Traughber, a freshman studying child development.
