Students relieve stress on the Snake River

June 20, the Outdoor Resource Center hosted a paddle boarding activity on the Snake River. The ORC drove a van full of BYU-Idaho students to the river and taught them how to paddle board.

Mark Bott, a sophomore studying mechanical engineering, is one of the instructors. He said he loves being outside and enjoys teaching students how to find joy on the river.

“Being outside on the river is a great stress reliever,” said Bott.

The event was the last paddle boarding activity held by the ORC for this semester, but students can still rent paddle boards at the ORC.

Students can visit the ORC Web page for more information.
