Rexburg Taco Bell reopens after being closed for two weeks

Story written by Esther Bristol

Taco Bell reopened its Main Street location on Thursday, Nov. 20 after having to close due to a fire on Nov. 5.

The fire started in the wall behind the fryers and spread to the electrical wires in the walls, according to eastidahonews.com.

On Nov. 5, the Rexburg fire department cut a hole in the outside of the building to get at the fire, according to the Rexburg Standard Journal.

Asst. Chief Mikal Walker of the Madison Fire Department told the Standard Journal that cutting into the building in this way was less damaging than other ways of getting to the fire.
