Top 5 places to eat in the MC

Story by Kelsey Anselmo-Wright

Come lunchtime, The Crossroads is always ready to serve those hungry for grub. With so many places to choose from, it can make picking a place to eat hard. Well, get ready to sink your teeth into this video. Here is a list of the top 5 for you to eat in the MC.

Rolling in at number five: Simply Sushi

Simply Sushi is the place on campus where one can eat sushi rolls anytime between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. featuring different types of sushi rolls. This is a great place if sushi rolls are the way into your heart and stomach.

Number four: Freshens

Freshens is one of the healthier places to eat on campus. Their menu mostly consists of smoothies, with flavors such as wild strawberry and orange sunrise. If you have a date who loves fruit, then this would definitely be a smooth place to take them.

Number three: Caliente’s

Caliente’s is the hottest place around. Literally, it is a Mexican restaurant. Caliente’s serves burritos, nachos, and even salads. So, it’s totally up to you to see what you want to cha-cha-chow on at lunchtime.

Number two: Shaker Salad

Shaker Salad is the place you want to go if you are looking for healthy food that isn’t a smoothie. With the menu on the glass for you to read, and a worker ready to make your food as you talk, this is definitely the place to begin shaking off the extra calories you may get everywhere else. Shaker salad offers salads that vary from BBQ Chicken to Strawberry Fields.

And finally, number one: Chik-Fil-A

Chik-Fil-A provides chicken nuggets, sandwiches and fries. People tend to like their special sauce, pouring it over their chicken like an additional breaded layer. So, if you are looking for nuggets of crispy goodness, Chik-Fil-A is easily the best option for you.
