The Oscar A. Kirkham Building has shut down water usage due to an emergency plumbing issue in the north end of the building.
Abby Smith, a service center representative, said there is no set date when the water will come back on, but she expects the water will resume within the next two weeks.

The bathrooms and water fountains on the north side of the building remain shut down. Restrooms on the other side of the building are still in use. Signs will indicate whether individual facilities in the Kirkham Building can be used.

“If there’s a sign on a water fountain, just don’t use that one,” Smith said.
