After Hillary Clinton was announced the Democratic presidential nominee, some disappointed delegates marched out of the arena and into the press tent to demonstrate their opinions on the voting outcome.
“When she wins, let’s go,” said Bill Sifford, a delegate from Idaho, to his fellow delegates. He stood among the crowd of people holding his flag, which read “No TPP.”
Among the the crowd of press, delegates sat around in a circle on the floor with tape over their mouths. Some held their fists in the air while they sat in silence.
“We are trying to press on the media to not shut us out,” said Sifford. “It won’t work.”
With the large amount of delegates in the press tent, police officers had to shut down any access to get in.
