The Rexburg Farmers Market is a fun way to spend your Friday afternoon shopping. There are interesting vendors, food trucks to satisfy your hunger, and lots of friendly people.
"This year, we are bringing more vendors, games, and sponsors to host fun events," said Larry Golden, president of the Farmers Market. "Don't miss a week."
The farmers' market runs from May through September on Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. While there are many vendors, here are a few to look out for.

Nat’s Knick-Nacks
Natalie Raymer is a crafty soul creating fire-starters, candles, and soon-to-be pocket letters for her shop. She explained that she spends a few hours making sure to perfect the burn of her candles and exploring new knick-knacks to create. While this is her first year at the market, she's excited to share what she's made. Look out for new creations at her table.
Bee Box Honey
Shannon Spencer is one of the owners of Bee Box Honey, a honey shop with bees that live from Rexburg all the way to Saint Anthony’s. They specialize in three types of honey: local raw honey, Yellowstone honey, and whipped honey. The local honey is great for allergies, the Yellowstone honey is from the Saint Anthony bees, and the whipped honey is made from either.
Audrey’s Apples
Audrey Cox has been making candied apples since high school and has made it a staple at the farmers' market for the past five years. She spent her time making different variations of candied apples first as gifts, then to sell, and now she's had her company for the past six years. Every week, she brings in a few new flavors of candied apples to be enjoyed, but her staples, turtle and apple pie, stay year-round.
A&K Creations
Kristi and Abigail Burt have been crocheting trinkets and plushies for the past few years as a way to make a little extra income. They have creations from keychains to bookmarks to full-fledged stuffed animals. Now that she enjoys crocheting, she’s made it a yearly experience for her third year at the farmers' market. While she does not have a social media presence, you can contact her by email here.
Black Bear Family Farms
Yavanna and Linda Carlos are two of the farm owners specializing in making food for the market. They have many creations such as floral teas, floral jellies, fruit vinegars, and more. They have some creative jellies, their best seller being a jalapeño jelly. During the summer, they also bring in their fresh fruit from back home.
There are many more vendors to choose from at the Farmer’s Market, whether it be soaps or snacks. The Market is a great way to bring the community together to enjoy the beginning of their weekends.

"When you shop at the market, you’re directly supporting families in this area; it actually matters," said Jamie Ashcraft, the market's manager.
The Farmer's Market is located at the Madison County Fairgrounds, and updates can be found on their website.
