Down below the city of Rexburg sits Venue 101, a basement transformed to create home for waves of music and entertainment. With colors bouncing around the room, opener Sale Pending takes the floor causing heads to turn and hear their first note ripple up through the wooden beams. The crowds energy echoes as they play a mixture of original songs and covers. Fans fill the room dancing and singing along to this new found music.

Anticipation surrounds the empty stage, waiting for Blush, a fresh indie pop band, to arrive. Suddenly, the first notes of guitarist Stino Jones echo into every corner as he plays a cover of “Marcel” by Hers. The crowd immediately moves towards the front to sing along. With Blush’s complex range of indie originals and covers, their stage presence, and crowd interactions, this is a must see band here in Rexburg. They bring the euphoria of live music.
