Explosive device found on Highway 20

UPDATE- 4:45 P.M. Police have arrested a 19-year-old BYU-Idaho student from Rexburg with connections to a homemade bomb on what was a routine traffic stop at the 312 mile marker near Idaho Falls on Highway 20 earlier this morning.

All southbound traffic was diverted to the Hitt Road exit.

Traffic now open on Highway 20 Southbound near Idaho Falls. Explosive device has been detonated.
