BYUI students and fans are invited to join RexROC, an extension of Provo's ROC student section, for the ultimate game-day experience this Saturday, Oct.18.

Festivities will kick off with a pre-game tailgate from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Amphitheater Pavilion and Terraced Lawns outside of the David O. McKay Library.

The event will feature food, music, face painting, corn hole, inflatable games and more.

The live broadcast of the football game between BYU and the University of Utah will begin at 6 p.m. in the John W. Hart Auditorium. Fans can expect cougar tails, raffle giveaways and plenty of cougar pride throughout the night.

Jake Tibbits, director of RexROC, emphasizes that these events are designed to bring students together.

“Even if you don’t like sports or college football, the amount of energy in the room is unmatched,” said Tibbits.

Students and community members are encouraged to bring friends, wear BYU gear and show their cougar spirit all evening long.

“Having something to root for, to rally around, it’s just the best,” said Tibbits.
