On Thursday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Career Center will hold a graduate program fair in the Center Courts at BYU-Idaho.

Allison Wilden, a specialist at the Career Center, hopes that this event will inspire students to move forward with their plans, whatever those plans are.

“The event is for all students! First-semester-freshmen, seniors graduating and anywhere in between.” Wilden said, “ It's for students who are set on grad school, unsure or curious, and students who are walking past and have a few minutes to spare.”

Students are welcome to come in casual clothes or more formal wear. Wilden recommended they bring their resumes if they are serious about graduate school. She encouraged students to come as their best selves.

“Come with questions, come to learn and network, and come to the information sessions which can be found on [our app] Handshake!” Wilden said,” We are so excited to host recruiters from all over the country and to orchestrate meaningful connections.”

Wilden said she attended BYUI’s graduate fair a few semesters ago, before she got hired by the Career Center. This semester, she’s been very involved in the planning of the event.

“I’ve been involved in so much of the preparation, it’s hard to believe sometimes," Wilden said. “But it’s been a wonderful experience, and I hope it’s just as rewarding for the attendees”

Students can find information on the specific programs online or on the Handshake app.
