“This event offers a unique opportunity for students interested in agriculture, horticulture, and environmental sciences to connect with industry professionals, explore career paths and learn about internship opportunities,” according to Handshake.

There will be 10 employers at the fair looking to hire interns or full-time workers.

”Introducing yourself and asking good questions will help you learn about various career opportunities,” said Garrett Nilsson, the event organizer.

Employers at the event will include BeeVue, Kimberly Nurseries Landscape & Irrigation and MD Nursery and Landscaping.

”Agriculture is a large industry, and many majors could find positions in management, accounting and finance. If you are interested in plants and animals, this is the right place for you,” Nilsson said.

The career fair is open to everyone, even if a student’s major isn’t related to agriculture or horticulture. Nilsson encouraged those who find plants or animals interesting to learn more at the fair.
