The third annual performance of Patriots and Pioneers will take place on July 14 in the BYU-Idaho Center.
British-born singer and actor Alex Boyé will star in the performance alongside nearly 300 BYU-I students.
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m., and event dress is encouraged.
The performance will celebrate American patriots and pioneers with song and dance.
It started as a patriotic concert but has expanded to honor the pioneers who trekked across the plains to reach Zion.
A few of the gros that will be performing include Collegiate Singers, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir and Symphony Band.
Boyé has most recently become well-known for his video collaboration with ThePianoGuys in their rendition of Coldplay’s song “Paradise,” which has over 7 million views.
Boyé sings the song in his native language, Swahili, and the video currently has over 7 million views on YouTube.
Tickets are $6 for general public and $3 for students.
Tickets for the pre-show dinner are $15 extra.
No children under the age of 6 will be admitted.
Tickets for Patriots and Pioneers are on sale in the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office or online at www.byui.edu/tickets.
