Apparel design classes and projects concluded Saturday, March 28, with the Couture di Carnivale themed fashion show.
Students filled the event with a variety of projects and designs from the Home and Family Department.
The group focused on children's apparel walked the runway first with the models varying from small babies to older children.

Among the other groups of the night was the apparel construction group. This group had creative participants in the fashion show and the designs varied greatly.
"I liked having a dress to show off with all of my friends," said Kate Thacker, a senior majoring in family consumer science and a part of the apparel construction class.

Sprinkled throughout the show were the senior capstones that took a considerable amount of time and effort.
Nicha Tucker used the capstone as an opportunity to make a beautiful bridal gown for her sister who modeled the look down the runway.

The fashion show was a culmination of all the hard work that the students put in throughout the semester and presented it to the audience.
"[My thoughts on the runway were] just excitement to show off all of my hard work," said Ellen Tenney, a freshman majoring in apparel entrepreneurship. "I spent [a lot of time] working hard on my skirt because I wanted to get it done for the runway."
