A derailed train near Chester, Idaho, has blocked traffic at the 2900 East and Highway 20 intersection, according to a Facebook post made at 4:04 p.m. by the Fremont County Sheriff.
No one was injured, according to the post.
The derailment damaged the road significantly, and the intersection is closed indefinitely.
The Fremont County Sheriff recommended that commuters use an alternative route.
The police have not yet released the cause of the derailment.
