For students who've felt like they were born in the wrong generation, this is their chance to turn back time.

Electric Avenue, a 1980s tribute band, will perform in Rexburg on Saturday, May 31, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the John W. Hart Auditorium on the BYU-Idaho campus.

Electric Avenue is known for having an immersive concert experience with an authentic sound, style and spirit of the 1980s, according to their website.

The band uses vintage synthesizers, unique effects, and artistic attention to detail. They recreate every feeling of the '80s most iconic hits, according to concert attendees.

The group is made up of performers Tom Young, Shannon Pengelly, Chris Pou, Kevin Spencer, Will Groth and Eric Frampton.

Together, they’ve performed alongside artists such as Pat Benatar, members of Toto, Player, Talk Talk and Little River Band.

Additionally, they have shared stages with stars from The Walking Dead, The Impractical Jokers, Pitbull, Joey Fatone and Kid Rock.

Participants are encouraged to arrive in their best retro outfits and classic cars for a chance to win throwback-themed prizes.

Students can purchase tickets online at the BYUI Ticket Office website.
