On Dec. 5, starting at 8 p.m., the BYU-Idaho department of English will be hosting another Write-A-Thon event in the William F. Rigby Hall lounge.
An email sent to English majors and minors on Dec. 1 said, "We have been getting questions about the Write-A-Thon ever since we first hosted it back in the Winter 2025 semester. We are proud to announce that we will be hosting it again!"
The event will last 12 hours, from 8 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, but attendees do not have to stay for the full 12 hours. Those who do stay the whole time are eligible to enter a word count competition.
According to the email from the English department, this event is perfect for students to sit down and finish essays, write poems, work on their novel or anything else that has to do with writing.
Dinner and breakfast will also be provided
Those interested in attending should fill out this form to RSVP.
