Spring semester is full of activities to keep BYU-Idaho students busy, from dances to concerts. Here are a few activities to keep an eye out for.
Every week throughout the semester the school puts on dances for students to enjoy and meet new people. These dances happen on Wednesdays — with country and swing — and on Fridays — with ballroom and Latin. Admission costs $2 making it a cheap first date.
If you do not know how to dance at all, fear not. An hour before each of the dances there is instruction for all levels of dancers.
Center Stage concerts
Every semester Center Stage holds concerts on an almost weekly basis and spring semester has some concerts that students will not want to miss. Performers for next semester include vaudeville performer The Great Kaplan on April 26 to 27; singer Nathan Pacheco on May 4; guitarist Diego Figueiredo on May 11 and many others. You can find more information about these performances on BYU-I’s Center Stage web page.
Special events dances
Apart from the weekly dances, BYU-I provides special event dances like the Magic Kingdom Dance and the I-Cover concert. These dances offer a great chance for students to relax and have fun for a decent price.
