Brent Barrett, John Cudia, Franc D’Ambrosio, and Ciaran Sheehann — each played the role of the Phantom in the Broadway production Phantom of the Opera — sang to a BYU-Idaho audience on Friday.

BYU-I Center Stage hosted the performance “Four Phantoms.” Kaley Ann Vorhees, a Broadway actress known for her role as Christine Daaé in Phantom of the Opera, sang a few selections with the quartet.

The concert lasted for an hour and a half. It was filled with selections from several Broadway productions including Phantom of the Opera, Man of La Mancha, Chicago and Les Misérables.

Each phantom sang a selection of solo numbers.

Throughout their Broadway performance, the phantoms took the time to connect with the audience sharing their words of wisdom.

“It’s important to be who you are and shine as only you can shine,” Barrett said.

Many students and community members who attended the concert were excited by the prospect of having a slice of Broadway in Rexburg.

“I think I’m going to melt into a puddle,” said Katie Honey, a psychology major before the show. “I’ve listened to the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack, but it’s different when you’re in person.”
