Since 2010, the owners of Hemming Village have annually spooked up their properties for a Hocus Pocus event. The Halloween decorations will be up until early November.

“We love Halloween," said Aubree Condie, Hemming Village property manager. "We love to decorate the streets to get into the spirit of Halloween.”

This year, the theme for the Hocus Pocus event this year is superheroes.

Hemming Village employees will be dressing up as superheroes such as Batman, Superman and Baymax at the event, which will take place on Oct. 30 from 4-7 p.m.

“Hocus Pocus is a free community Halloween event," Condie said. "We give out a ton of candy, we have a rock wall, face painting. It’s a family Halloween party. All of our people dress up as specific characters.”
