IBC: Faculty Food Files

by Lucy Toy | Nov 13, 2024 | Campus News, Community, Special Projects | 0 comments

After a long cold day, nothing sounds better than a warm, home-cooked meal. The BYU-Idaho students who created the Faculty Food Files recipe book for their IBC company would agree.

Filled with the favorite recipes of BYUI professors, the book provides a variety of home-cooked recipes. The creators of Faculty Food Files, being college students themselves, know how hard it can be to find recipes that are quick, easy, affordable and taste good.

Students can find the Faculty Food Files stand on campus in the Hyrum Manwaring Student Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every weekday. Additionally, students can purchase the recipe book on their website for $18.99, linked here.

Check out their Instagram page linked below to see more about their business and what to expect from the book. The recipes are tested and reviewed on their page by Gorilla, who has cooked several of the recipes and taste-tested them on camera.

Along with recipes, this book includes stories and images of the professors who shared the recipe. The creators hope to connect students and professors on a new level with sweet stories behind the recipes, adding to the homely feeling of each recipe.

Stay tuned and follow along, as a second edition of this book is in the works and will include many more exciting recipes. The IBC group is excited to continue providing BYUI students with budget-friendly recipes, entertaining reviews by Gorilla and watching students enjoy the recipes of their professors.
