Join the Romance Theater for an exciting night of “The Greatest Showman”

If you are looking for something different and entertaining to do this month, then the Romance Theater is ready to offer a fun, interactive experience with The Greatest Showman.

This event is known as an “Extended Play Cinema.” It is an event based on the film with activities, games, trivia, prizes, swag and food.

Doors will open on Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 7 p.m.

“There will be a few surprises during the film,” said Emily Miller, the Rexburg Cultural Arts media specialist.

The Romance Theater holds Extended Play Cinemas every few months. Last time, they did Napoleon Dynamite and had a dance that took place on the stage afterward. The dance was a success and they plan to do the same thing with The Greatest Showman.

Those who are interested in attending the event can purchase tickets at the Rexburg Arts website. The $8 ticket will include activities and the movie. The $12 premium ticket includes activities, the movie, swag and concessions.

The Romance Theater hopes that these kinds of events will help bridge the gap between BYU-Idaho students and the local community. This is a great activity for family home evening groups, couples or families.

“I’m very excited to go,” said Shelby Banks, a junior studying science education. “I went to the Napoleon Dynamite showing and loved it. I can’t wait to see what they’ll do with The Greatest Showman.”

More information on the events held by the Romance Theater can be found on their website, or you can see a calendar of all events here.
