On Thursday, Kiwi Loco brings in scarers from The Rexburg Straw Maze to interact with guests at their $5 Cup Night.
“We do a collaboration where we hang up posters for them and they hang up posters for us,” said Piper Corbett, assistant manager at Kiwi Loco. “And then their scarers come here on $5 Cup Night.”
Kiwi Loco holds this event every year before Halloween to promote The Straw Maze and to get guests into the spooky spirit.

Emma-Kate Salin, one of the guests interacting with the characters, said, “Its kind of hit or miss … some people really get into it and … joke with them and other people are … avoidant and … not really paying attention.”
Salin said that she thought their presence was fun because it was different then going to their haunted attraction.

Another guest, Sara Masten, described the characters as “super friendly and … a little bit scary.”
